3. What data is collected?
This website is designed to be particularly privacy-friendly. All data is processed exclusively on servers within the European Union and is not shared with third parties.
3.1 Access Data and Logging
When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits the following data to our server
IP address (truncated or anonymized)
Referrer URL (the page you visited before)
File or page accessed
Date and time of access
Operating system and browser version
This information is used solely to ensure the operation of the website and is not merged with other data.
3.2 Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies. These are necessary to provide the basic functionality of the website.
A session cookie (PHPSESSID) is stored for the duration of your visit and is deleted when you leave the site.
We will obtain your prior consent before using non-technical cookies (e.g. for analysis or marketing purposes).
3.3 Interactive map
Our maps are loaded entirely from our own web server. When you open a page with a map, only a preview image is shown at first; no data is transferred to third parties. Only when you use the map (point at it, tap it, reach it with the keyboard or choose “Load interactive map”) does your browser load the map software, map data, fonts and icons – again exclusively from our server. This produces the usual server log data (e.g. IP address, time, requested file). The map does not set cookies.
Location: The “Find my location” button asks for your location only when you click it, and only with your permission in the browser. The position is used only on your device and is not sent to us or to third parties.
Directions: Only when you click “Get directions” do you leave our website and open the chosen service (e.g. Google Maps, Apple Maps or OpenStreetMap); its privacy policy applies. Only the destination is passed on. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
4. Website Hosting
Our website is hosted by a hosting provider within the EU. Technical data is processed to ensure smooth operation.

6. Use of Matomo (web analytics)
We use Matomo, a web analytics software operated on our behalf by our web agency FINK Brot Pixel GmbH as a processor on servers in the EU; the data is not passed on to third parties. Matomo does not set cookies, and IP addresses are anonymized (last two bytes are removed). The data processing is solely for the purpose of optimizing our website (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Disclosure to third parties
Personal data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of the contract, for legal obligations or for the protection of legitimate interests.

Our website contains links to external websites.
Please be aware that when you click on an external link, personal information such as your IP address is transmitted to the third party provider. We have no control over how these third parties process your information.
Therefore, we recommend that you review the privacy policy of that site before submitting any personal information.
9. Contact form and e-mail contact
When you use our contact form or contact us by email, the personal information you provide will be processed. This is usually:
Your name
Your e-mail address
Phone number (if provided)
Your topic and message
The contact form sends your information to us by email; the content of your enquiry is not stored on the web server. We use this information only to respond to your request and store it only for as long as necessary. It will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to fulfil your request.
Protection against abuse and spam: To prevent misuse of the form, your browser solves a small computational task in the background when sending; no third-party services are loaded and no cookies are set. In addition, enquiries are automatically checked for typical spam characteristics (e.g. many links, random text, disposable addresses); suspicious enquiries are delivered with a flag. To limit mass submissions we use pseudonymised identifiers derived from the IP address that are effective for at most one hour; the form does not permanently store the IP address itself. Technical logs contain only the time, form identifier and check result (no enquiry content) and are usually deleted automatically after 7 days. To monitor operation we count delivered and rejected enquiries per month and remember the time of the last successful submission – without names, addresses or content. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning contact form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) b GDPR (contract performance or steps prior to the conclusion of a contract) or on the basis of our legitimate interest in processing enquiries and preventing abuse pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR.
